any word on the new ps3 sku?

So my father wants to buy a new ps3 but he wants BC, which is fine. Well now all thats available is the 40 gig as the 80 gig has been discontinued. So he continues to play my PS3 and MY COD4 because sony screwed me and doesnt have any ps3's with BC in stores. Basically im just ranting, . And why discontinue the 80 gig and give no official word of a new sku with bc? kinda pisses me off.any word on the new ps3 sku?
No. BC is forever gone. The $399 model is becoming the worldwide standard. The only new scu announced is the WHITE $399 PS3 coming over to the states.any word on the new ps3 sku?
60 gigs are still on EBAY and amazon my suggestion would be to buy one from there before the price goes even higher than they already are.

I think Sony gave up with BC, so I only expect a new bundle and probably a bigger hdd since you'll need it for your game installs and most likely they'll include one DS3 in the new bundle.
