It taught most people not to hype games only because of the graphics, as in the case of Lair.

That the spiritual winner of an game show means nothing(as in Sony winning GDC and E3 last year)
That If hyped to much, people will hate a game so much even if its actually good(Halo 3)
THat when said game is hated, another game will be overrated for having a deep multiplayer when it isnt even all that deep(Call of Duty 4)
That PC exclusives should remain PC exclusive or they will be butchered(Unreal Tournament 3)
That Portal is godly.
THat Miyamoto and Nintendo are still the best(SMG GOTY)
That the RROD costed Microsoft alot(PS3 and Wii outsold it)
THat there arent that many AAA exclusives on either PS3 or 360(4 between them here and only 2 between them on Metacritic all on 360)
That PC is still getting big games even though its dieing.
That Kevin VOn Ord is the worse reviewer for my personal tastes(Metroid Prime 3, Mass Effect, Assassins Creed, i dont agree with any of those reviews)

That 07 was a greatest year for SHooter fans, but not the greatest year ever, that is still 1998.
That i cant go 1 month without getting suspened.
Thats what i learned on system wars in 07.
For the record COD 4 is a good game, just not the god everybody makes it out to be or the clear cut best shooter of 07. I dont even think its the best shooter on 360, yes on PS3. But no on 360.

Price is far from the reaon Wii sells so well. The only thing that 2007 has tought us is that, people want games that are fun, not necessarily pretty. And that music games are going to take over the world

Er...it taught me that the Wii was the most popular console. The DS was the most popluar handheld. It also taught me that the 8800GT rocks the house down. What's not to like?
It's hilarious to see that fanboys still claim that the Wii only sells because it's not expensive. It's obvious that a low price helps. But if price is the only thing that matters, then the GC would've been number one last gen, not the PS2.
The reason why the Wii is selling so well is because it's game library and control system have a far broader appeal than the PS3 and 360.
that mass effect should have been delayed to fix the tech issues of an otherwise perfect game. :x

And for your information the 360 outsold the PS3 then if we go by shipped numbers. The 360= 10.6 PS3= 10.4.

that lots of people embraced the breath of fresh air that the wii is.We learned that games on 360 and Ps3 get better physics and graphics each game and still have lots of power in them.We learned that some people are more concerned about their image than about having fun. they call the wii a fad and don't understand that gaming is a far more expanded medium than just shooting aliens with an unimmersive prehistoric dual analogue controller or mouse and freaking keyboard.
We also learned that even though the are getting wayyyy to casual wrpjs are still one of the deepest genres ever.

that people like to buy under-powered machines that offer you the same games as a purple lunchbox. that microsoft cant finish the fight when they had ever chance to do it. that sony are slow starters but seem to always come out in good shape. the wii will have the worst game line up since the jaguar. the PSP is actually a good system. and that game delays are getting more and more common.
