maybe in a month or two, not anytime soon though it is a great game.
I doubt it the RPG base just isn't generally with the 360, this has been prooven time and time again...I'm a +1 though.
COuld be, i got the last copy at the store i went to, i dont really care at this point, im just reallly enjoying the game.
World-wide maybe.
yes imo, and the game its awesome!.
After 4 months

Oblivion and Mass Effect both sold well over a million on 360. Enchanted Arms, Eternal Sonata, and Blue Dragon didn't do well but then again they had absolutely no advertising campaign. To say that because those three JRPG's didn't do well means no JRPG can do well on 360 is stretching it. Besides it's not as if every JRPG released for the PS2 was a million seller.
Worldwide, perhaps, I'm still doubting it IMHO no need to get touchy. Oblivion and ME sold over 1 mil? duh they were both phenominal games and one was advertised out the wazoo.
It has been getting a ton of great impressions on the internet, it has a commercial, great solid reviews, whatdo you think ?
A million sold?NO, it's considered a decent game, but not any thing spectacular by the media. It's a ho-hu by the numbers RPG, but in a Next Gen world with almost no RPG's out for the current consoles, it's better than the void we were getting.*Please, don't post upcoming lists of games, there aren't here yet, and I will be getting many of them at that time*

Only time I've seen an Eternal Sonata commerical was when I was watching some geeky oriented television programming ;) It's been the same with Lost Odyssey. A lot of gamers do not care or even know that Sakaguchi and Uematsu are behind LO. It's turn based combat, and it bores the crap out of a lot of gamers with ADD.
hasn't it already sold 500k?so 500k more, 2 weeks and i say so.
The real question should be,Will it sell 2 millioin?
I actually think that this game will sell pretty well. And not just because I am a fan of the game, its because that its getting pretty good promotion for a jrpg. This commercial was the first video game commercial with the exception of Halo 3 which was super hyped that I have seen on Prime Time TV, which has alot of viewers. And not to mention that the English commercial kicked ass, they made a good choice choosing that song for it because if they had gone with its theme song it might not have attracted alot of westerners to try out the game since its got like an opera feel to it. BUt we won't know how much its sold till a gamming source actually reports how many units have sold. But hopefully there'll be an update soon.
I dont know what people are talking about iv seen the LO commercial like a zillion times already. I just think not alot of people who own a 360 like JRPG's. They seem to be more in WRPG's.
It should. It has big names behind it, a good story, and most of the reviewed negatives seem largely preferential.
This has nothing to do with sales, but does nyone else think that the only reason why people are trying to bash the game so much is because its an exclusive to the 360? I mean granted it is turn-based but it actually involves strategy, since the game is more challenging than most RPG's. But anyways it just feels that most Sony fans seem to be hating on the game since they saw it as a threat to the FF series before and because it wasn't on the ps3, you don't see much 360 fans complaining. =/
no....I am intrigued by the game though.....
I cant picture this title hitting the one million mark with the 360 being dead in Japan.
