The Next Generation

Right now we are in the thick of the current generation and i must say that i'm pleased with the advancements and innovations that were made. undoubtably sony, microsoft, and nintendo are all hard at work on their next creations and most likely within the next 2-3 years we are going to see leaked information. what do you think they will turn out to be, this time during 2002 i was fairly accurate concerning the 360s specs.many people think the jump from PS2 to PS3 was not as big as from N64 to PS2 but i think they are wrong compare Killzone 2 to Killzone and the jump is very large, same with Halo to Halo 3 and i expect the same next gen.PS1: 32 bit processorN64: 64 bit processorPS2: 233mhz Emotion EngineXbox: 733mhz P3, Nvidia gpu360: 3 power pc cores @3.2Ghz, 500mhz ATI GpuPS3: Cell @3.2Ghz, 550mhz RSX XBOX 360 II: 12 Power Pc cores @6.0Ghz 32nm fab, ATI Quad custom gpu 600 unified pipelines,SM 5.0+, DX11 capable, 2Ghz core speed, 5GB Gddr5 RAM. total performance = 8 tereflopsBlue - Ray Drive 10x read speed. 200Gb HDGPU supports 720p,1080i,1080p, 1440p SHDTVInterface= reworked controller with voice command and next generation motion sensing.everything i wrote is very realistic and feasible at a $399-499 price. The Next Generation

So dual cores were evented to keep the clock speeds down but performance to go up.
Is the ati 360 gpu right? i thought it was 600mhz or 450 mhz...or well doesn't matter.Yeah next-gen will be amazing....who knows? alls i can say is smaller, wider screens and actual 3d images, like a tv with 2 layered lcd screens, one partially see thro, so u get a sense of real dimension... yeah...the console will be very powerful when released. like these ones when they were release, but now they are like the average gaming rig and soon to be a poor ones at that...anyways, yep.oh i think the hdds will be solid state, easy flash memory. The ram as well will rely on that, cause there will only be 5 gigs of it.

I can't wait for like 3 gens from now, just imagine the technology in those! Or even 5 gens from now. Can anyone say quantom computing? Just think of those eye dropping graphics. It will practically be lifelike once we get to that level....

Thinking of the future makes me droooooooool

lol that is so ridiculousat most next gen the consoles will have 2 gigs of ram, more is completely unnecessary.also, their processor speeds will not be above 5 ghzit's the graphics cards that will make a huge difference, i'm guessing they are likely to be based on nvidia's GeForce 9 series.
