Dark Messiah(360) 8.5 GI review

I'm honestly surprised. I thought the demo was atrocious.
i enjoyed this game on pc back in 2006. Released a bit too soon with some bugs, but within a month they squashed most of them. I would give it an 8/10 overall.
I thought the dungeons were too drab. It was seriously depressing to walk into them. I know dungeons aren't supposed to look like a magic candy world but these are just too much.
Wait.....is this the same game that there was a demo of on XBL? That was probably the worst demo I've ever played....

There is no way Dark Messiah is anywhere near the worst demo. It might have been kind of boring but there wasn't anything broken about it.

Rofl good PCs?DM runs just fine on 4 year old systems - beat it on my 4 year old one.The 360 version is just a very very late port. The games fun, but nothing spectacular.

[/QUOTE]Yeah I played it on my 6800 Ultra.. It wasn't terrible, but I replayed it on my 8800 GTS, now that's sweet.

I've always been excited for this game, but I don't care too much about it anymore. I'll rent it and hope its good. I want The Witcher on my 360!!!

I don't trust GI. Their reviews are usually very far off. Wasn't AC a 9.5? Bioshock a 10? Building us up for disappointment...Well, since it got a 3.5, and the demo was horrendous. It's worth a rent at best, or a buy if you really have nothing better to play (seriously, buy DMC4 or even Turok, or save for a future game over buying this).
