The different gamer types:

PC gamers: The snobby ''elitests'', also called Hermits. Sit on the computer for unnatural periods of time playing the same game hours on end. Love to show off their rig to other people to feel better about their social life...Xbox 360 gamers: Think they are actually the heroes in the games the play. Made up mostly of college frat boys, or 12 year olds yet to go through puberty. Have an uncanny loyalty to Microsoft and the 360.Playstation 3 gamers: Feel overshadowed by the 360, but act just as immature as the Microsoft community. Think of themselves as the hard core croud, and the ''real'' gamers, just because they have Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid, and are pissed off that GTA4 is going to the 360. Above all else, they hate the 360.Wii gamers: Arguably the most respecatable of all the communities, but also arguably the community with the most nerds. Nerds who will quote lines from their favorite Zelda game, and correct other nerds who mess the quotes up. Wear t-shirts with the Mario mushrooms on it. Never buys any game that wasn't made by nintendo.WoW gamers: People who have no life. Don't hold the elitist attitude of other PC gamers, mostly because they aren't playing a PC game, they are playing life. They really wish they were a level 60 arcane mage, because this is the only place where they have friends. Isn't exactly a nerd outside of the game, but inside they are nothing but.Halo gamers: Think that Halo was the best thing to come out since the wheel. Play nothing but Halo, and openly condemn anything that isn't related to Halo, especially if that something isn't related to Microsoft. Will defend Halo to the absolute end, even if Halo was ported to something other than Microsoft. Oh, wait....There you have it- my complete objective view on the different groups of gamers, even though it was more like the different communities of gamers per each platform... AHH WHATEVER!!!The different gamer types:

But I bought No More Heroes and Zack and Wiki.. I don't ONLY buy Nintendo.
DS and PSP owners?
Me and many others- Just play the games, have a life, enjoy gaming, have girlfriends, a job, go too school, arent snobs, arent immature, and just play the games because they like them.

Im just saying I think the good side deserves a nod once in a while.
I play games that I find to be fun plain and simple no matter how casual or hardcore it is. Despite that PC is my main gaming system, I wouldn't mind playing a console game. As long as enjoy it personally, then there's nothing to worry about.
You're going to hurt a lot of people's feelings.
PS3 owners: An embarassment and a complete laughing stock.
and you forgotyou: a fanboy

Congrats, you fit perfectly in with the Xbox 360 Gamers section.
But I bought No More Heroes and Zack and Wiki.. I don't ONLY buy Nintendo.
Same. But I have been trying to get my hands on a Zelda T-shirt. :P
wow you couldnt be more wrong. Ive played on almost EVERY other platform since the Atari2600. I had/have a NES, SNES, GB, SegaMD2, N64, Gamecube, xbox1 and xbox360. Ive played a good amount on PC back in the day and my friends had/have PS, Dreamcast, PS2, PS3 to make my gaming needs complete. And i have absolutely nothing that you listed in your platform ''generalisation'' thread..

There are only three types : Gamers, Casuals and Fanboys.
There are only three types : Gamers, Casuals and Fanboys.
exactly..doesnt matter which platform. in the end those three types are all the same
How about this type :Real Gamers: People that play and own all available platforms, without holding some sort of lame ass allegience to one mega corporation, over another.
Uh? Uh? Wait. I hope people caught that for the most part, the entire post was pretty much sarcasm/satire, althogu ha lot of it had roots of truth to it. I wasn't being serious people, although again, most of it was based off of the different steryotypes.
PS3 owners .. they're starting to get cocky
PS3 owners .. they're starting to get cocky
Don't worry, it will pass once something goes wrong and they get owned for some reason. Most of them will leave SW, then they will start crying about how everyone hates them. It's a vicious cycle.
