Of Course my friends get games alot and I only get games 3-4 times a year usually and I like to borrow games off of my friends to play them, I did that alot on the N64 same with the PS2.

I gota 360 to play with my college mates ( 9 of us )All of them stopped playing Halo 3 within two Weeks.3 of them are addicted to World of Warcraft now ( Shame really.. )5 of them are building new rigs this year ( first times aswell ).The 360s are hardly used, I went to play with a amte on CoD4 ... oh noes my 360 red lighted and went off (power trip) , I join a few games, the game host quits, it all goes to hell.Waste of money. complete waste, why the hell did I even buy this console!?
This is actually an awesome topic because word of mouth I think is a big part of a consoles success. My friend convinced a friend and I to get a PS3 and I convinced my other friend and cousin to also get a PS3 instead of a 360. Now we all play Rock Band and Call of Duty 4 together.

back before i had a job yea. My parents would only buy one game console so i usually picked the one my friends didn't have. That way we all could play all the systems at the time. Like i had a sega genesis and my friend had a SNES (before online gaming :p) now that i have a job however. no not really. I influenced all of my friends to get a 360 randomly when they all came over and would play mine. Warner Bros influenced me to get a PS3 (Still sad about HD DVD's death :()

Yes, no fanboyism though, we decide as a group this gen it was 360 last gen ps2 (except I nvr got one just stole my friends ps2 and kept on playing pc):P
Well, I believe I influenced my friend to get a 360. I was always talking about the awesome games I was playing, I came back from holiday after the summer and he said he ordered one. Now we play online, and since then I persuaded another friend to get a 360, he then got another guy I know and an old friend of mine to get one; now I added them to my friends list and we tore aprt people on COD4; It's all good lol.Though I was persuaded to buy a PSP (which has it's highs and lows)

Nope. As a general rule my friends are morons. I wouldn't take their advice on what kind of beer to drink so do you really think I'll listen to them when it comes to buying a piece of hardware that costs hundreds of dollars?Truth be told most of my friends don't game, which is fine with me. It keeps me from spending too much time playing videogames.
