I like both game series, but if I'm only buying one system which one is worth getting for the exclusive? I'm not a fan of JRPGS so don't talk to me about Final Fantasy. There are rumors that MGS4 may eventually show up on the 360, but if the PS3 picks up steam this year that probably won't happen. Thoughts anyone? NG2 or MGS4?
MGS4, easily.NG2 or MGS4?
I like NG more!
Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy is the reason I bought the ps3
Splinter Cell.
*Concerning the 360 to get MGS4 Rumors*There are also rumors that there was no moon landing.Personally I like MGS much more than NG and I also have DMC4 for action games on the PS3, in the end the choice is yours, and yours alone.
I'd personally go with MGSIV. Everything I see and read about the title makes it look incredible.
I guess if you're basing your purchase only over this I'd say MGS4.... but there should be more factors involved. :?
What other factors would you suggest I consider? I'm not saying that sarcastically.
Based on one game? MGS4 most definetely. You can substitute some pretty decent hack-n-slash like DMC4 for NG2 on PS3 as well. So you wouldn't miss out too much.
Both will be awesome, it all depends on the personal preferences of the gamer. I like hardcore action, so NG2 for me.

in action, NG2 will be better but on an overall level, MGS4 will blow it away. Get MGS4 and then get DMC4 and NGS to scratch that hack and slash itch.
ROfl I love NJ thats wat made me get my 360. I got a ps3 too, trust me the 360 is still the better choice, until MGS4 is released the ps3 still hasnt have a good exclusive.

But I believe that DMC4 is a closer substitute for NG2 than SC is for MGS4. So my argument still stands.
MGS4.
What other factors would you suggest I consider? I'm not saying that sarcastically.
Well there certainly should be more exclusives that you must like. Just to throw some out there, there's Uncharted, Resistance, LBP, GT for PS3. There's Halo, GeoW, Banjo, Fable for 360. And less important are each system's features. PS3 with the Blu-Ray and 360 with XBL and such.
I would rather have NG2.
