The first time I rode Epona through Hyrule Field in Ocarina of Time comes to mind. Though it could also be every time in Chrono Trigger when the theme song kicks in.

But The final Warthog run in Halo COmbat Evolved That was epic, i dont know why Halo 3s sucked so much. But for some reason it felt so underwhelming, but i love the COmbat Evolved one still.

There were a couple of good moments this gen, but nothing that fits into my all time favorites.

I have many moments in FF8!I really liked the outerspace scene and the festival scene.Also, believe it or not, I love it in SMG when Rosalina shouts 'Go Mario!' when he enters the final castle. Maybe because she speaks so little it had such a dramatic effect. Plus the way she says it: perfect.

The big revelation in the middle of System Shock 2...[spoiler] When Polito is revealed to have actually been SHODAN all along. [/spoiler] It was simply an amazingly well presented and frightening moment, that changed my outlook on the entire game.

Gah, so many to choose from...1) First seeing the Arwings flying out of the hangar from the original Star Fox. I wanted to make love to my SNES when I saw that.2) The snowspeeder Hoth fight in SotE,3) KOTOR. All of it4) The part in GRAW 2 where the Blackhawk is shot down and you have to fend off around, oh...a 100 mercenaries5) Nuke in CoD4, and its aftermath

After 10 missions...you get to watch Halo blowing up.
